KWFT actively participated in the community clean up day which was held on Friday, 20th January 2017. The clean up was organized by Upper Hill District Association (UHDA) in partnership with Nairobi City County.
KWFT is a member of Upper Hill District Association (UHDA), which represents the interests of property/land owners, businesses and residents based in Upper Hill District. Their goal is to improve the quality of life in Upper Hill by liaising with key authorities in the National and County Government.
KWFT was well represented by a team of 20 staff from all departments in Head Office. The inaugural Community clean up was a success as it had over 300 participants from 12 companies who showed up ready to clean. The companies included Nairobi City Council, CIC Insurance, Teachers Service Commission, Crowne Plaza Hotel, NTSA, NHIF, Mwalimu Sacco, Gimco Ltd, Riley Services, Oxford University Press E.A and Loreto Primary School.
During the cleanup KWFT covered the Community Area to Lower Hill Road.
KWFT looks forward to support more environmental initiatives.
